ProFish accounts sign in via Google or Apple. Data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) in the EU, and a small set of named third-party processors handle subscriptions, maps, crash reporting, weather, and tides.

Signing In
ProFish accounts are created and accessed by signing in with a Google or Apple account. No separate ProFish password is created.
What Data Is Stored
- Account email address and display name
- Catch data: species, weight, length, photos, and notes
- GPS coordinates — only collected with permission granted by the user
- Device information
- Anonymized crash reports
- Subscription tier (Free or Pro)
Where Data Is Stored
ProFish's backend runs on Firebase (Google Cloud), and account and app data is stored in the EU.
