ProFish Privacy Policy

ProFish ("we", "our", "us") operates the ProFish mobile application (the "Service").

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address, display name when you sign in via Google or Apple
• Catch Data: Species, weight, length, photos, notes, and other catch details you log
• Location Data: GPS coordinates when you log catches or use the map (only when you grant permission)

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version
• Usage Data: Feature usage, screen views, crash reports (anonymized)
• Subscription Status: Your current subscription tier

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve the ProFish service
• Display your catch log and statistics
• Show relevant map data and weather based on location
• Process subscription purchases
• Send service notifications (with your consent)
• Analyze app performance and fix bugs

Data Storage

• Catch data is stored locally on your device and synced to Firebase (Google Cloud, Stockholm region)
• We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
• Your data is stored in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden)

Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, analytics
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Mapbox: Map rendering (your location is sent to Mapbox for map tiles)
• Sentry: Crash reporting (anonymized)

Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your data at any time
• Delete: Delete your account and all data from Profile → Delete Account
• Portability: Export your catch data
• Correction: Edit any catch data within the app

Children's Privacy

ProFish is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
