    Download ProFish from Google Play (package id com.profish.app) on Android or the App Store (app id 6760431386) on iOS, then open the app. The free tier requires no credit card.

    Tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. ProFish uses these two sign-in methods only; there is no separate email and password account.

    Allow location access when prompted. Location is used to center the map, look up nearby tide stations, and localize FishCast forecasts, and is only used with permission granted.

    Log a catch with species, weight, length, a photo, and notes, or open FishCast to see today's hour-by-hour bite-probability score. The free tier includes 20 logged catches per month and a 1-day FishCast forecast window.

    Open the map and switch between layers. The free tier includes 10 of the app's 21 total map layers, including weather overlay, satellite view, wind arrows, solunar overview, and OpenSeaMap.

  6. 6. Try CatchMaster Optional

    Open CatchMaster, choose your current location or a saved spot, select the water type (saltwater, freshwater, or brackish), and view the predicted species list with estimated encounter percentages.

  7. 7. Understand Free vs Pro limits

    The free tier includes 20 logged catches per month, 15 saved fishing spots, a 1-day FishCast window, and 10 of 21 map layers. Pro removes these limits, adds AI Fish ID, offline maps, and extends the FishCast window to 16 days, for $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year with a 7-day free trial.
