How to Get ProFish

Signing In
ProFish uses account sign-in via Google or Apple — there is no separate email/password account system. After signing in, ProFish stores your account email/display name, catch data, GPS coordinates (only with permission granted), device info, anonymized crash reports, and your subscription tier. The minimum age to use ProFish is 13 (16 in the EEA).
Location access is only used with permission granted, and is required for map centering, tide station lookups, and localized FishCast forecasts.
Orientation: Core Areas of the App
FishCast is ProFish's AI bite-prediction engine. It analyzes barometric pressure, moon phase, solunar period, wind, time of day, tide state, cloud cover, and precipitation to produce an hour-by-hour bite-probability score. The free tier shows a 1-day forecast window; Pro extends this to 16 days.
Map & Layers is a layered fishing map with 21 total layers — 10 available free and 11 exclusive to Pro, including the Fish Finder AI hotspot layer and offline map downloads.
AI Fish ID uses your phone's camera to identify a fish species from a photo, drawing on a database of 400+ species and linking results to local fishing regulations. It is a Pro-only feature.
CatchMaster predicts which species you're likely to encounter at your current location or any saved/searched fishing spot, based on water type, season, and time of day — each species shown with an estimated encounter percentage.
Catch Log auto-tags each catch with photo, GPS location, and weather conditions, and provides personal statistics, charts, a species "bucket list" tracker, and CSV export or shareable catch cards.
