Steps

  1. Open CatchMaster from the map or your current location

Open CatchMaster from the map or from your current location to start a new prediction.

  2. Choose a saved spot or use current GPS

Choose a saved or searched fishing spot, or use your current GPS position, as the location for the prediction.

  3. Select water type

Manually select the water type for the location: saltwater, freshwater, or brackish.

  4. Review the predicted species list

Review the list of fish species likely to be encountered at that location, in the current season and time of day, each shown with an estimated encounter percentage.

Note

CatchMaster works both at your current location and at any saved or searched fishing spot.

CatchMaster vs. AI Fish ID

CatchMaster predicts what you might catch at a location. AI Fish ID identifies a species from a photo of a fish you already caught. They're separate tools for opposite ends of a trip.

Encounter percentages are a likelihood estimate, not a guaranteed catch outcome.
